Welcome to Brandherd Kennels, producing versatile Drahthaars for field and family. We are a Verein Deutsch-Drahthaar registered kennel, committed to the VDD testing program and breeding regulations.

We are located in the Minneapolis, MN area and primarily hunt pheasant, ruffed grouse, and waterfowl and seek to produce dogs that excel in these areas. Our dogs are medium size, easy to keep in the house with family, yet possess the heart and desire to pursue and retrieve game regardless of size. We believe our dogs will make you a more efficient, effective hunter, proud to share the field with your Deutsch-Drahthaar hunting companion.
